The November 2011 Update (by Kevin Bishop)
0 Comments Published November 14th, 2011 in Current News and EventsWelcome to a small update from Smash or trash Indie Filmmaking. Our intrepid leader (Robert Long) is still on sabbatical until the 1st of the new year, but he said it was cool to post about a few things in the works. It’s his birthday on the 14th so wish him a happy one!
Special effects artist and prop maker Brian Munger has been keeping busy in the San Francisco Bay area. He and his custom built Stormtrooper suite are appearing in the new Star Wars video game commercial. Brian is the Stormtrooper in all the scenes with a case and coffee. Click HERE.
Munger also has appeared live on stage as Darth Vader with Weird Al Yankovic.
Next on the list is that Corey William’s SENIOR CUT DAY has a brand new, action-packed TRAILER up. This looks to be along the lines of senior high school students meet up with backwoods heavies. This looks to be interesting. The movie has a premiere date of Thursday December 8, 2011 at the Landmark Theatres in Baltimore, MD. For tickets and information go HERE.
Endlight Entertainment was very successful with their Kickstarter campaign for NINJAS VS MONSTERS and it looks like production will start in the Spring. The third and final film of the trilogy has the ninjas going up against Dracula, Frankenstein, the Werewolf, the Mummy, and Witches. The premise sounds like a lot of fun. We’ll keep you posted as more information becomes available.
Lee Doll Film Productions are busy working on their second movie based on the character of THE FIXER. The main character will be played by actor Paul Seiber. Alfred Guy returns as Yeb-Beb and George Stover guest stars as the villain. Jeff Herberger has put together a trailer for the new movie that you can view HERE.
