Smash or Trash Television – the premiere episode has started to go on line and we are very excited about it! We have chosen Vimeo over Youtube as Vimeo offers a better quality with its compression. Thanks goes out to several people for getting this on the road and they include Les Bradley, Frank Lama, Jared Noe, and Mitch Klein. Now the 1st segment is introduced by hosts Robert Long and Frank Lama and the program goes right into Robert talking to filmmaker Lee Doll about his several independent projects which include the ADVENTURES OF LOUANNA LEE, THE FIXER, music videos, several short subjects plus an independent musical. You can get to the segment HERE.

Victoria Lynn, Louanna Lee and Frank Lama

In the second installment host Frank Lama interviews actresses Victoria Lynn and Louanna Lee – both from the ADVENTURES OF LOUANNA LEE series. Frank asks how they got involved with independent productions and if they intend to continue pursuing the entertainment industry. You can get to this fun segment HERE.

The third installment has host Robert Long talking to Visual Effects Artist Mitch Klein about his past work with Timewarp Films (Stakes, Vampire Sisters) under the helm of Don Dohler and Joe Ripple. There is also discussion about his work on the Adventures of Louanna Lee and the Fixer for Lee Doll. Plus Mitch goes into some of the strategy and techniques he uses when producing visual effects for independent productions. The biggest news in this segment is the subject of Crawler – the long awaited sci-fi horror movie in post production – and some 2006 clips of the title creature in action are debut on Smash or Trash! You can get to it HERE.

George Stover, Leanna Chamish interviewed by Frank Lama

In the fourth installment host Frank Lama talks to actors George Stover and Leanna Chamish. Stover – who is a genre favorite – talks of his days of working with John Waters and Don Dohler (among others) and gives his advice about how to break into the business.  Chamish – who is a bonefide scream queen – discusses the start of her career with filmmaker Kim Moir as well as how she became a mainstay with Timewarp Films. These interviews are fantastic and go into depth of what the East Coast indie filmmaking scene is all about. You can get to the segment HERE.
